Frequently Asked Questions
We are available Monday through Friday between 12pm and 3pm (excluding major holidays)
All services besides pet sitting are scheduled within a designated time window rather than at an exact time. This allows us to provide reliable, high-quality care while accounting for traffic, weather, and the needs of each dog. Your dog will always receive their full walk within the selected window.
If you require a specific time or a time outside our window, please note this in your Meet & Greet Request or reach out to us directly and we will confirm availability before booking.
New clients must first complete a Meet & Greet before booking any services. This allows us to meet you and your dog, review routines and access, and make sure we’re a good fit. You can request a Meet & Greet using the form linked here. Once approved, all ongoing scheduling and service details are managed through the Walkies app. If we’re a good fit, we’ll text you an invite to join Walkies, where you can book walks, view visit reports, GPS walk tracking, photo updates, and manage your account.
Walks are scheduled within a designated time window (12pm-3pm) rather than exact times, and your dog will always receive the full walk duration booked. Services can be booked week by week, or we can help set you up with recurring bookings on our end.
Payments can be made through Walkies using a credit/debit card digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Microsoft Pay), bank transfers (ACH), PayPal, Venmo, Zelle and more
We understand that things come up. While we do not charge a cancellation fee, we kindly ask for 24 hours notice whenever possible. Advance notice helps us plan our schedule and continue providing reliable service.
We live in Colorado so there is ever changing weather here which we are accustomed to. We walk in all kinds of weather as long as it is safe for us and your dog(s). This means something different for every dog…some dogs like Huskies love their walks the most in winter because it is cold and snowy so no problem, we are happy to walk them! However, if you have a poodle they will not enjoy snowy cold days so we will have shorter walks for them and instead have a play session inside. We will customize a visit plan based on your dogs needs so don’t worry.
For safety purposes we do NOT walk dogs if there is thunder and/or lightening!
We will never cancel visits due to weather unless there is a large snow storm forecasted.
